Members of the Pennsylvania Health Information Management Association are committed to maintenance and improvement in the quality of health information for the benefit of patients and providers. This is accomplished by coordinating exchange of information for clinical, research, and financial reimbursement purposes, seeking constantly to protect confidentiality of health care information and provide continuing education for health professionals. 

While the AHIMA House of Delegates is active year round, there are two important issues to be discussed and voted on face-to-face in Seattle, Washington this October.  Below are summaries of these two issues.  Please take a few minutes to read each one carefully.
