The CCS Preparation
Readiness Workshop is an all day session divided into
two main sections. The first section will focus on
inpatient coding including diagnosis and procedure
coding, regulatory guidelines and reporting requirements
for inpatient services. The second section would focus
on outpatient coding including diagnosis and procedure
coding, regulatory guidelines and reporting requirements
for outpatient services. Both sections would cover the
remaining domain content that is applicable to both
inpatient and outpatient services. If desired, the
attendee can attend the full day or a ½ day session.
This would allow those attendees familiar with inpatient
coding to attend one session focused on outpatient
coding where they are not as familiar and vice versa.
