Introduction:

The Health Information Management Team at Hanover Hospital in Hanover, PA, is seeking a Regular Part Time (28 hrs. per week) Compliance Auditor.

Job Description:

Under the general supervision of the Director of Corporate Compliance, the Compliance Auditor performs audits, assessments, and analyses of healthcare areas. The Compliance Auditor uses clinical experience and/or knowledge to provide more specific insight to potential compliance issues. The Compliance Auditor will collaborate with appropriate departments to plan and execute risk assessments, perform auditing and monitoring, and implement policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

CSS or CPC Certification preferred

Education Qualifications:

  • BA/BS Degree is required

  • BA/BS Degree in Healthcare is preferred

Job Description:

Exciting opportunity to work in the Health Information Department at Select Medical’s corporate campus in Mechanicsburg, PA.

The Coding Auditor is a new position, responsible for reviewing LTACH medical records and reviewing ICD9 code and DRG assignment for accuracy and compliance. The Coding Auditor assists in coordinating internal and external coding and DRG validations.

Required Qualifications:

The right candidate will have CCS credentials, 3–5 years experience in ICD9 inpatient coding and DRG assignment and experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associates or Bachelors degree in health information management or related field with RHIT or RHIT preferred.

Compliance Auditor
Ephrata Community Hospital

Introduction:

A small, non-profit, community hospital located in the heart of Lancaster County is seekling a Compliance Auditor. This is a full-time opportunity with great benefits.

Job Description:

To act as a liaison with all Ephrata Community Hospital entities while performing independent coding, billing and/or process reviews and coding education/interpretation for ECH entities.

Required Qualifications:

  • RHIA, RHIT or RN with certified coding specialist (CCS) with knowledge of federal, state and payer-specific regulations and policies pertaining to documentation, coding and billing. Candidate is required to maintain experience and certification as applicable.

  • Must have working knowledge of ICD-9CM, CPT and HCPCS coding involving various inpatient (including DRG methodology), out patient (including APC methodology) and/or physician coding (including E/M methodology).

  • A minimum or five years of coding experience and coding certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified coding specialist

Education Qualifications:

RHIA, RHIT or RN with CCS
