Audio Conference:
Closing the Gap in Breach Response -
Case Study of a Data Breach Incident

April 7, 2010

Date and Time Wednesday, April 7, 2010
12:00-1:00 Eastern

Description Section 13402 of the HITECH Act sets a very important precedent and provides notice to the healthcare industry that the Federal government requires both Covered Entities and Business Associates to provide notification of a breach in a timely manner. With penalties as serious as $1.5 million and more than 40 different state statutes many organizations do not fully understand the difficulties in meeting the requirements and avoiding penalties. This educational webinar will provide an overview of the notification and call center requirements of Section 13402 along with a case study of the breach notification process for both a small and large scale breach.
