Preparing for ICD-10 - The HIM Manager's Role

Description

The presentation will include a brief overview of ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS to provide HIM professionals with a better understanding of potential transition issues. It will help you to assess your facility, department and personal readiness for the transition to ICD-10. Transition topics include technical issues, documentation and data issues, training, and productivity impact on revenue. It is still early but we need to be sure we have an ICD-10 action plan in place.
