PHIMA is looking at taking a more formal role to
support our Pennsylvania schools. Therefore, we
are setting up a database for facilities or
interested individuals to complete an online
application about what relationship, if any,
they could have with a Pennsylvania HIM
accredited school program.
The relationship could be as simple as helping a
student with a mock interview, resume writing or
agreeing to let them complete a Clinical
Practice at your facility. The Pennsylvania HIM
Schools Program Directors will have access to
this database to assist them with the placement
of Clinical Practice sites as well as any other
assistance they may need from the PHIMA
membership.
