PHIMA Distinguished Member Submission Deadline

Each year, PHIMA honors an outstanding member, recognizing that individual’s loyal service to the Association and his/her contributions to the HIM profession. It’s time to solicit nominees for the PHIMA Distinguished Member Award for 2023.
Nominees may be submitted by a Regional Association or by an individual PHIMA member. The nominee must be a current AHIMA member with Pennsylvania identified as his/her designated Component Association (CA).
The application for this award and the details for completion are available on the PHIMA website. The individual or association (sponsor) must submit an initial letter of recommendation. Completion of the application plus two additional letters of reference are required to complete the application process.
The PHIMA Executive Board will review all applications and select the Distinguished Member based on the criteria as outlined in the application, including association activities on a national, state, and regional level and other contributions to the profession.
If you have the privilege of knowing someone who has demonstrated the attributes of Distinguished Member, please take the time to nominate them for this honor. The deadline for submission of the application with the necessary documents is February 28, 2023.
