It’s Patient ID Week!

Patient ID Week, sponsored by the Patient ID Now coalition, of which AHIMA is a founding member, runs from May 9-13. AHIMA has provided a number of ways for you to participate this week.

Visit AHIMA’s Action Center, where you can participate in three campaigns this week on patient identification and matching:

• Tell Your Story about Patient Identification
• Email your Legislators and Ask them to Repeal Section 510 in the Labor-HHS Appropriations Bill
• Tweet your Support for Patient ID to your Members of Congress
