PHIMA will be hosting it annual Fall Conference on Friday, November 11th. The conference will focus on 2 topics:

The morning APR-DRG session will focus on an in-depth review of All Patient Refined DRGs (APR-DRGs) with a review of the historical evolution of APR-DRGs, a detailed review of the calculation of an APR-DRG including Severity of Illness (SOI) and Risk of Mortality (ROM) and the impact on today’s initiatives such as Value Based Purchasing.
The afternoon Certified Health Data Analyst (CHDA) Exam presentation will include review of the following topics on the CHDA examination as well as some test taking tips and post-test:
- Uniform Definitions and the Data Dictionary
- Data Architecture and Database Design
- Statistical Testing Methods
