I am pleased to welcome you all to the beginning of a new year for PHIMA. Each year brings a renewed possibility for growth, collaboration, service, and professional excellence, and we look forward to sharing that with each of you.
I would like to personally thank Lauren Gess for her unwavering leadership for the past two years. We appreciate all that she contributed to our association and continues to do so. As we move ahead, we look forward to working together with your help to continue our strategic goals of supporting MEMBERSHIP, providing EDUCATION, and exploring opportunities to support ADVOCACY initiatives.
This past year has not been without our challenges. After thoughtful consideration and evaluation, both CPHIMA and WPHIMA made the difficult decision to dissolve due to several factors, including a steady decline in membership and impactful shifts within the industry that have made it increasingly difficult to sustain. PHIMA is committed to supporting all the members of our state.
We would like to thank Donna Klos and Michelle Charette, along with their Boards and chairpersons, for all their efforts in the past several years.
I encourage every member to actively participate in the discussions and initiatives that will be organized throughout this year and take advantage of the opportunities our association provides for learning, networking, leadership, and personal development.
Thank you in advance, and we are looking forward to a productive, successful, and memorable year for our association and for the profession we proudly represent.
